Meet Dr. Andrew
Dr. Andrew Jahner was born and raised in Dickinson, North Dakota, where he developed a lifelong appreciation for health, movement, and an active lifestyle. A three-sport athlete throughout high school, Dr. Andrew especially enjoyed basketball and track and field, experiences that helped shape his appreciation for the connection between physical health and the ability to perform at your best.
Today, Dr. Andrew’s greatest priority outside of the office is his family. He and his wife, Kate, are proud parents of three daughters: Joie, Rey, and Evie. They enjoy staying active, spending time together, and making the most of the many opportunities the Fargo-Moorhead community has to offer.
Dr. Andrew and his family are proud to call Fargo-Moorhead home and are excited to play a role in building a healthier, more active community. He is passionate about helping people move better, feel better, and continue doing the things they love—whether that means competing in sports, keeping up with their families, or simply enjoying life at their best.
At Optimal Chiropractic, Dr. Andrew believes that quality chiropractic care is about more than addressing pain. It’s about helping people achieve their optimal health so they can live an active, fulfilling life.
Meet Dr. Barney
Dr. Nicholas Barney was born in Fargo, ND and grew up in the small town of Perham, MN. His childhood was spent living and enjoying all the comforts of lakes country. From a young age, sports and human performance was a major interest of his. Upon graduating high school he decided to attend the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks for Pre-Medical education. While attending school there his passion for athletic training and performance only grew. Despite trying to learn how to help athletes and himself and achieve their full health potential several injuries and nagging health concerns continued to plague him.

I fell yesterday. I am new to fargo and googled chiropractor, came up with some. I called them and got an answering machine. Checked with optimal and was able to get in right away . They explained what they were going to do and when done, I felt better. Great job team

Always greeted with a pleasant smile and incredible professionalism. Dr. Barney always takes the time and care to not only address your medical needs as a patient, but to know you as a person.
This review is long overdue. I packed and moved myself in a Uhaul cross country three years ago. Needless to say, when I arrived, my back was trashed. I called the office on a chance, and they had me in within 15 minutes to start my healing. I have been a satisfied patient for years now!
